Family

I’m not going to sugar coat my life by saying it’s easy being Indian. But, I have some of the coolest aunts, uncles, and cousins. My aunts will party with us, my cousins will throw down in a heartbeat if someone's messing with you, and my parents will always ask if we need money. (I make my own money now, dad, remember?)

I was at my cousin’s wedding in LA this weekend and just seeing everyone in one place made me realize how lucky I was. This group especially has been so behind my career choices, have always gone out of their way to include me in events and always made sure that I was taken care of. I feel very sorry for the boy that will have to compete with these cousins. More than that, each one of them is intelligent, open minded, and down to earth. Kirk, Bud (and Harsh), Vinnie, Anita and anyone I may have missed (can’t forget the Masis – you know who you are)….you all rock. Thanks for existing. And mom and dad, you guys rock too. You are all my guardian angels.

To the next generation of Bhabees – welcome to the family. These boys will take good care of ya’ll. (Had to add some Texas accent in there).
